About
Pre-Romanesque church, reworked in the 12th-14th centuries. One of the churches and chapels with exceptional frescoes and wall paintings in the Loir Valley and the Perche Vendômois region. It has a number of wall paintings decorating the chancel and part of the nave, including twelve scenes from the 14th century illustrating the Works of the Months. An epitaph in white marble dates to 1752, and a caquetoire, quite rare in the Perche region, decorates the facade, all of which are well worth the visit. Opening on inquiry (key to be removed from the bakery). Writing desk of presentation available on the site.
Also: from the church, the circuit 40 km mountain bike/car and pedestrian course, to discover this local stone.
