Your gîte is located in Saint-Dyé-sur-Loire, a village classified as a "Petite cité de caractère", with a rich architectural heritage (15th-century houses, narrow streets, fortifications, ramparts, etc.) and a former port where materials for Chambord arrived. You're close to Chambord and its magnificent Château, to the town of Blois, and in the heart of the Loire Valley... The Loire offers a wide range of landscapes and opportunities for strolls, on or along this wild royal river (on foot or by bike, with the "La Loire à vélo" circuits). The Beauval Zooparc is less than an hour away.
