This arboretum, near Montoire sur le Loir, is one of the oldest arboretum of France. Thousands trees and shrubs found all over the world that have been gradually planted by the family since the end of the 18th century around the buildings and then according to the landscape design created by its owner, on the 25 hectares of a hillside in the Loir valley. The countless botanical discoveries of the last three centuries, as well as the perseverance of eight generations of the same family, have enabled the park to be constantly maintained and enriched.
