About
The Mont-près-Chambord Winemakers' Cooperative Cellar was established in 1931. Today it constitutes 20 or so member winegrowers who cultivate vineyards covering approximately 140 hectares, within a radius of 15 km. All the AOC terroirs of Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny are represented and enable to have riches cuvées : sandy grounds of the banks of the Loire river (from Vineuil to Maslives) for aromatic and fresh wines ; deeper clay-siliceous and clay-calcareous soils (towards Cheverny and Fougères-sur-Bièvre) for round and solid wines. Tasting. Also : the wines of the Cellar have already been awarded during the most prestigious competitions.
